The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on September 10, 2026, notified trading members of a mock trading session for the Equity segment scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, from both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery Site (DR). Members using third-party trading platforms may use the session to test various functionalities, including call auction sessions, risk-reduction mode, trading halt and block deals. No new BOLT TWS release will be introduced.
At the Primary Site, login is scheduled from 9:15 AM–9:45 AM, followed by the morning block deal window, pre-open and continuous trading sessions. The mock also includes T+1 and T+0 trading, Special Pre-Open for IPO/re-listed securities, Periodic Call Auction and block deal windows. After switchover to DR from 12:00 PM–12:45 PM, corresponding pre-open, T+1/T+0 continuous trading, Special Pre-Open, Periodic Call Auction, afternoon block deal, auction and closing-auction sessions will be conducted, followed by post-closing and trade modification.
The mock session is solely for testing and familiarisation. Trades executed during the session will not attract margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations and will not create any rights or liabilities. Members are requested to participate actively and provide feedback to the Exchange by 4:00 PM.
